The meeting was called to order and minutes of the November 6, 2025 meeting were approved.

City Engineer Martin Hellmann updated the committee concerning the Crestview Hills sidewalk project; the plans have been submitted to the state for approval and work continued on final plans.

No updates were available for the state grant for the Bellemonte resurfacing & curb project. As sidewalks and curbs are not included, the application was amended to include only resurfacing work. As this project will approximate $700,000, the committee considered a start date of spring, 2027 and concluding in the fall of 2027. This would split the cost over two fiscal years and eliminate to potential winter safeguards needed prior to resurfacing.

InfraHub has released some of its video street & sign assessment project to facilitate the updated 5 Year Road Plan. The new 5 year plan will be presented for review after January l.

Riegler Blacktopping performed crack sealing and coating the City Building lot on Friday, October 3, 2025 and additional work prior to being shut down by weather concerns. They will finish this spring. lt was also proposed to add the 2026 crack seal project to the current bid at the same rates to facilitate the project without the need for a new RFP and possible higher costs. The committee responded positively.

Mr. Greer updated the committee that the street sweeping was completed on December 9 despite the rain. He recommended consideration of spring street sweeping.

Mr. Greer stated that the security upgrades are in process: the lobby glass was replaced, the smoke detectors were upgraded and the outside light timer was upgraded to a digital timer in place of the outdated mechanical timer.

He also commented that the snow removal crew did a great job with our early December snow fall.

Mr. Bernheimer initiated a conversation regarding traffic conditions on Dixie Highway as the most congested street in Northern Kentucky. The state monitors such conditions regularly, but there appears to be no relief. He also brought up the possibility of leaf collection during the fall. Mr. Greer stated that he would look into what other cities offer such services and the costs involved.

The next meeting will be on February 5, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Meeting adjourned.
