ORDINANCE NO. 10-2026
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKESIDE PARK, KENTUCKY ADDING TO CHAPTER 30: GARBAGE COLLECTION, SECTION 30.013 TITLED PROPERTY OWNER WASTE MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL OBLIGATION
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to add a new section to Chapter 30: Garbage Collection as Section 30.013 titled “Property Owner Waste Management Financial Obligation” in the City of Lakeside Park, Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lakeside Park is establishing this Section 30.013 for a uniform process so that all eligible properties are treated equally and the program is administered in a consistent, transparent, and equitable manner; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Lakeside Park, Kenton County, Kentucky that Chapter 30 titled “Garbage Collection,” add a Section 30:013 titled “Property Owner Waste Management Financial Obligation” as follows:
SECTION I
New Section under Chapter 30 will be entered as “30.013” and titled, “PROPERTY OWNER WASTE MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL OBLIGATION.”
SECTION II
The City Council determines that the payment of municipal waste collection fees shall be mandatory for all owners of residential real property within the jurisdiction of the City of Lakeside Park except for multifamily apartment complexes and commercial or business properties and any unoccupied parcel of land and all churches, which are excluded from the provisions of this section.
Effective Date of Ordinance: This Ordinance shall be effective when read, passed
and published according to Law.
