Project Name: Dixie Highway Sidewalk/Crestview Hills | Project Number: 220175 |
| Crestview Hills has been awarded SNK funding to construct a sidewalk along the east side of Dixie Highway from Carran Drive to Whitehouse Drive. Approximately 35 feet of this sidewalk is in the City limits of Lakeside Park where it will tie into the existing sidewalk across from Carran Drive. Previous discussions regarding this topic indicated that Lakeside Park would be willing to pay for the portion within Lakeside Park. We are estimating that this will be around $10,000.
An executed agreement has been enacted naming the city of Lakeside Park responsible to pay an amount not exceeding $10,000.00 for the portion of sidewalk in Lakeside Park. OKI has increased the total amount available for the grant and moved dollars into the design and right of way phases as requested by Crestview Hills. VDT is awaiting further authorization from KYTC to proceed with design and right of way.
VDT has begun KYTC paperwork, utility coordination, and finalization of plans. Crestview Hills to reach out to homeowner of 2713 Dixie Hwy and secure temporary easement. VDT has submitted plans and relevant paper work to KYTC for review.
Crestview Hills has obtained temporary right of way from 2713 Dixie Hwy homeowners. VDT has received comments from KYTC on contract documents and is updating the documents accordingly.
VDT is coordinating with KYTC on additional revisions. |

Project Name: Bellemonte Avenue Resurfacing and Curb Replacement | Project Number: 43182 |
| VDT has submitted the signed LARP application to KYTC.
The city has signed the proposal for the resurfacing and curb and walk replacement on Bellemonte Ave. NKWD asked to coordinate the street improvements with the replacement of the water main. VDT has submitted a proposal to NKWD with the following schedule: |

VDT is in the midst of design on both the roadway and watermain. On Wednesday, July 29, 2026 VDT walked the site with Steve Greer to assess the current design and measure concrete joints for driveway tie-ins.
VDT is coordinating storm design and cost-share with SD1. SD1 has requested riprap outlet protection at existing pipes which outlet into yard areas. VDT will present the proposed storm design and anticipated costs to the city at the public works meeting.
The existing pavement thickness must be known to accurately determine the required sawcut depth and to determine the difference between existing and proposed curb thicknesses. VDT has scheduled pavement coring for Tuesday, September 1. Steve will be on site to backfill the coring holes. |

Project Name: 2025 Joint & Crack Seal Program | Project Number: 37635 |
| City building parking lot and seal coating completed.
VDT has coordinated with Chad Lockhart and Thomas Berry from Riegler. Riegler has agreed to hold price from the 2025 J&CS Program for the 2026 streets, and to completed the 2026 streets along with the remaining 2025 streets. 2026 Streets: · Farmington Dr, Farmdale Ct, and Farmcrest Ct · Applewood, North Ashbrook, and South Ashbrook The estimated sealing length for these 2026 streets is 35,600 LF. With the Riegler unit cost of $1.14, the approximate cost for the project would be $39,444.00. The Change Order has been signed by all parties. Riegler has completed all 2025 Streets and has also completed Farmdale Ct. The remaining 2026 streets will be completed in the fall.
Pay Requests 1 & 2 were approved on January 23, 2026 in the amount of $17,384.71 Pay Request 3 was approved on May 26, 2026 in the amount of $13,659.48 These pay requests fully pay for the 2025 Streets including retainage. Now only the 2026 streets remain.
