LAKESIDE PARK-CRESTVIEW HILLS POLICE AUTHORITY BOARD
Regular Meeting – December 15, 2025
CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting of the Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills Police Authority Board was called to order at 17:23 hours by Chairman Paul Markgraf.
ATTENDANCE: Board Members in attendance were: Paul Markgraf, Bill Dorsey & Dennis Landwehr. Also present was: Chief Degenhardt, Captain Paolucci and Clerk Markus.
MINUTES: Mr. Dorsey made a motion to accept the November minutes. Mr. Landwehr seconded. Motion passed unanimously with 3 yeses and O noes.
FINANCIAL: The November financial statement was reviewed along with the November reconciliations. After a review of the bills, Mr. Dorsey made a motion to pay the bills, Mr. Landwehr seconded. Motion passed unanimously with 3 yeses and O noes.
CHIEF’S REPORT:
- Boyers completed his final phase of field training on December 3, 2025 and is now on solo patrol.
- Tony Wilson began his employment on December 1, 2025 and is enrolled to begin DOCJT Basic Training Academy beginning February 1, 2026.
- Bush completed a Red Dot (firearm optics/sights) Instructor Course through Victory First.
- Armstrong completed an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course through St. Elizabeth Healthcare and is now a National Registry EMT.
COUNCIL REPORTS:
Crestview Hills – Mr. Dorsey stated their regular meeting was held on December 11th. They passed Order/Resolution 2025-12-01, the 2026 Planning Council Appointments and Order/Resolution 2025-12-02, reappointing Board of Adjustment Member James Blom. They also passed Executive Order 2025-11-01, modifying Christmas Eve and Christmas Holidays.
Lakeside Park – Mr. Markgraf stated their regular meeting was held December 8th. They passed Executive Order No. 7-2025 – reappointments to the Kenton County Planning Commission, Executive Order No. 8-2025 – reappointments to the Kenton County Joint Code Enforcement Board, and Municipal Order No. 8-2025 approving expenditure of funds to partially fund a school resource officer for Blessed Sacrament School through the City of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. They also passed Resolution No. 10-2025 Pursuant to KRS 83A.040(9) removal of Council Woman Cassandra (Cassi) Schabell for non-residency in the City of Lakeside Park.
OLD BUSINESS: None.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
GOOD OF THE ORDER:
Chief Degenhardt stated Karen Goodin with Rankin, Rankin & Co. will likely present the audit findings at the January meeting. It was also decided that the January and February board meetings will be held on the fourth Mondays of those months.
ADJOURNMENT: Mr. Dorsey made a motion to adjourn at 17:39 hours. Mr. Landwehr seconded. Motion passed unanimously with 3 yeses and 0 noes.
